About the Role

The position is a summer temporary job, so we hope you are available for work between weeks 25-32. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

As a security guard, your primary task is to deliver safety to our customers. You do this, for example, in a monitoring center or at an access control point. As a security guard, you have greater authority than a regular guard and often work closely with our customers' staff on objects that are crucial to Sweden's security.

The work is independent and is often perceived as free, but with a great responsibility.

The tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, at night or during the day. The length of shifts varies, but they are often scheduled in 12-hour shifts. As we are an operation that is active all year round, it is common to work every other weekend.

You will, for example:

• Handle matters within your assignment area
• Ensure that no unauthorized persons have access to the objects
• Staff stationary objects as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

For this role, it is required that you are already trained as a security guard, either military or civilian, or if you have a complete guard training and have completed VU1 and VU2.

The security guard training must have been completed in 2016 or later, and the certificate for the security guard training must not be older than five years at the time of application.

For the role of security guard, it is also required that you hold Swedish citizenship and that you can undergo and be approved in a security screening.

A B driver's license is also a requirement.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• HAS training
• Previous experience in monitoring protected objects, other security work, or security work.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
